In this Elementor review, we’re going to look at the popular page builder and breakdown the key elements of the product. Elementor was launched in 2016 and has already gathered 5 million installs.
Elementor boasts itself as the #1-page builder. With over 5,000 reviews on WordPress.org and a 96% user rating, they might have a stake in that claim. (Colin, 2020)
That’s a great rating, so let’s figure out why people seem to like it so much.
Elementor Review - Drag and Drop Editor
Elementor is a visual drag and drop page builder. That means that when building your page you will see your page exactly the way that your visitors will see it.

That’s a helpful tool to keep the flow of your page consistent and pleasing. Drag and drop page builders are all the rage for their simplicity.
No extensive knowledge of coding is needed to build a page when using drag and drop builders.
Elementor offers what they call ‘Pixel Perfect Design,’ which gives the builder almost complete control over the layout, typography, and color scheme of their pages. (Elementor, 2020)
Further along in this elementor review, we discuss a cool feature that can control these settings in one place.

The page builder produces those settings with 100% clean code so that your website runs smoothly.
Elementor page builder features website animations and interactions like the ability to add scrolling and mouse effects to any part of your site.
The custom positioning tool allows users more control over position absolute, inline elements, vertical and horizontal alignment, and fixed position.
Basically, you can put whatever you want, wherever you want. Pretty handy!
There is also a snazzy, though not too deep, a photo editor that allows you to add certain effects to your photos. The shape divider gives users a wide range of control over their backgrounds to create variants on images.

Elementor global Settings
An interesting feature of I want to mention in is this Elementor review is the Elementor is the global design system.

These global design settings allow users to change the global colors and fonts of all pages across the site from one place.
No need to go to every page and change your banner color, the global color feature lets you do every page at once.
In addition to the global settings, you can edit the entire look and feel with the Elementor theme Builder.

You can edit the header, foot, post, pages, 404, and archive templates with a click of a button.
One of my favorite Elementor features or the hotkeys.
For example: Ctrl+E gives you the Elementor finder:

Elementor's Powerful Popup Builder
One of Elementor’s recent additions is the PopBuilder. This is a game-changer. You can create a popup within seconds. If you are using a plugin to run your popups, you can eliminate it.
You can choose from a wide range of popup templates to get you started or create your own.

In addition to the templates, after you completed designing your popups.
You can configure conditions, triggers, and advance rules to popup when a visitor gets to your site, decide to leave your website, and much more.

The popup is only available in the paid version of Elementor.

Elementor Review Conlusion
Elementor is a popular and highly used page builder for a reason. The Personal package is top of the line and just about as good as it gets for page builders.
The Free option is a bit lacking when compared to other free options, but the ease of use when creating sites through Elementor makes up for some of that.
The page builder is very user-friendly.
Overall, you can’t go wrong with Elementor. It’s great for your personal site, your small business, and even your medium, or larger, company.
The ability to see exactly what you’re visitors see as you create your page cannot be understated.
