There are so many email marketing services out there.

I didn’t know which one to choose, which was best, which had good features for the free versions, or which to avoid.

I want to make sure that you don’t have to go through that and to help ease your search I wanted to make this Aweber vs Getresponse showdown post.

Aweber Email Marketing

The free version allows users to have up to 500 subscribers. After that, you have to pay to continue to use the service. Aweber offers monthly, quarterly, and annual billing plans. The annual is the most cost-effective, as it generally is for these services.

Aweber plans range from $19 a month to $149, but the annual works out to $16.15 a month.

The free plan limits users to 3,000 emails a month, and the Pro is unlimited.
Aweber’s free plan comes packed with almost all their features, with only some features being exclusive to the premium.

Getresponse Email Marketing

Getresponse does not have a free plan, but their basic package allows for up to 1,000 subscribers for $15 a month, and they do offer a 30-day free trial.

If you pay annually the monthly cost comes out to $12.30 a month, and only $10.50 a month for the 24-month billing cycle option.

Those prices are for up to 1,000 subscribers a month.  Getresponse subscriber count goes up at similar to Aweber; at 2,500, 5,000, 10,000, 25,000, and even 50,000 and 100,000.

The Plus and Professional plans have the same base subscriber counts. The Plus is plan is $49 for up to 1,000 subscribers and goes up from there.  The Professional plan is $99 a month for up to 1,000 subscribers and also scales up by subscriber base.

The Plus plan comes with all the features in basic and adds some popular features like Sales funnels, automation builder, webinars, and more.
